DESCRIPTION:Brought to you by your friends at STEM Yellowstone and ZooMontana\n\nThis is a family-friendly\, COVID-safe\, physically distanced event that will explore birds and bugs in our area and how they prepare for cold months ahead. Families will spread out on a blanket in an outdoor environment and will take part in different activities.\n• Bring your own blanket that can accommodate up to four (4) family members.\n• Blankets will be spread out at least six feet apart in a grid.\n• Bring your own masks to keep safe.\n• Bring some water\, a comfortable sweater and some curiosity!\n\nWhen:\nSaturday\, Oct. 24\n11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.\nWho should come:\nThe activities will be designed for kids between ages 6-12 and their parents/guardians. Each blanket group will be required to have at least one (1) adult to help with the activities. We will have volunteers roaming around to help as needed\, but the real interaction will happen when families work together to explore.\n• Because of the space constraints\, the event will be limited to 20 blankets.\nCost:\nAs a way to help families during these challenging times\, this event will be offered free of charge.
