DESCRIPTION:Starting on July 15\, 2020\, the certification process for Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSBs) and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Businesses (EDWOSBs) will begin to change as the Small Business Administration (SBA) implements Congress’ changes to the WOSB Federal Contracting Program\, as put forth in the 2015 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). \nThis webinar will give a quick overview of the WOSB Federal Contracting Program and explain\, in detail\, what is changing in the certification process\, and the steps to take to get certified under the new regulations. \nIF YOU ARE CURRENTLY SELF-CERTIFIED AS A W.O.S.B. OR E.D.W.O.S.B\, THAT CERTIFICATION WILL NO LONGER BE VALID AFTER OCTOBER 15\, 2020. DON’T BE COMPLACENT. IF YOU DON’T WANT TO LOSE YOUR STATUS\, YOU HAVE TO TAKE ACTION BETWEEN NOW AND OCTOBER 15.
