Cybersecurity Training (Apr 2020)
The cyber industry is reporting thousands of COVID-19 scams and malware attacks on a daily basis as cyber criminals are trying to exploit people’s fears. This means as small businesses are scrambling to ensure ongoing operations during this national emergency, their sensitive information and that of their customers are more at risk than ever. It seems every day there is a story about major cyber breaches where sensitive, personal and proprietary data are lost. Accordingly, now is a perfect time for 7(j) small businesses to register and participate in our Cybersecurity Training web-based courses. And the best news is that SBA is offering FREE cybersecurity training conducted by Synergy Solutions about how 7(j) small businesses can educate and defend themselves and their customers, and help them develop a cybersecurity plan. Business owners and managers can participate whether they are reporting to their offices or teleworking using Synergy’s secure online Learning Management System platform.
The marketing flyer describes the sixteen (16) one-hour training modules conducted by Synergy Solutions that break down cybersecurity elements and concepts into easily understandable topical lessons which small businesses can apply immediately to their business practices. All web-based courses are FREE and available via Synergy’s secure Learning Management System (https://synergysolutions.talentlms.com/). Class size is limited to optimize the interactive online sessions that are taught by Federal and industry subject matter experts and students are encouraged to actively participate. After 7(j) participants complete all ten (10) Introductory Cybersecurity modules, they are given 30-days access to a secure and confidential Cybersecurity Assessment and Risk Tool. A synopsis of each training module and the Cybersecurity Assessment and Risk Tool are provided in the attached flyer.
